Medical-Legal offers medical history taking for QMEs and Primary Treating Physicians. We ensure that a very thorough patient history is obtained and provided to you prior to your evaluation.
Our medical historians not only have an extensive knowledge of what is expected to be included in a medical history, we also take a calming and empathetic approach to patients when we call them, thus leading to an increased comfort level on their part and in turn, a higher level of disclosure.

How can I be assured of patient privacy?
We are fully HIPAA compliant and gladly provide HIPAA compliance contracts to every new client upon request.
What is the process?
You send us the demographics provided to you by the patient’s legal counsel and/or the employer’s insurance carrier. We reach out to the patient, respectfully informing them of who we are and why we will be gathering information from them regarding their injury, condition, etc. At the end of the interview, we thank the patient for their time, compile the finalized history, and submit it to you using the method of your choosing, I.e., Dropbox, Box.com, email, etc.
How does payment work?
We can invoice you by history or on a monthly basis, whichever you prefer. We accept Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, automatic transfer, and checks.
